Ms. Michelle Renee Leathers

Hello, 

My name is Michelle Leathers. I am a member of Northside High School Alumni, class of 1990. I have been teaching Exceptional Children for 18 years. I received my Associate of Liberal Arts and Science degree from Louisburg Junior College and my Bachelor of General Studies Degree, specializing in Juvenile Crime and Delinquency from the University of Kansas, "Home of the Jayhawks." I have my teaching license in Special Education K-12. I also played basketball for Louisburg Junior College and we won a National Junior College Championship and won a Big Eight Conference Championship at the University of Kansas, now known as the Big 12. I am the head coach for girls' volleyball, girls' basketball team, and girls' flag football. I am very passionate about what I do. I love to work in my yard and work with the youth at my church. I love to inspire and love to help others.
