I am excited to start my 3rd year as a panther and high school counselor. A little about me - 

I am originally from Goldsboro, NC, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Mathematics Education with a minor in Psychology from NC State. I began my career teaching middle grades math and science in Wayne and later Beaufort counties before pursuing my Master of Science in Counselor Education from East Carolina University. Since then, I have been serving as a school counselor.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married, and we have one son who is eight years old. I love being outdoors—whether it’s hiking in the mountains, relaxing on the beach, or working on projects around the house. I also love shopping and watching college sports.

Most importantly, I love working with students and helping them realize that reaching their goals and achieving their dreams begins with just taking the first step.
