Mrs. Connie Gibbs

I have been an educator for more than 20 years and have had the joy of working with students across many grade levels and subjects since 2002. For fourteen years, I taught Language Arts and Social Studies in both middle and high school, where I loved helping students grow as readers, writers, and thinkers.

In my current role as an Instructional Technology and Media Specialist, I support students and teachers in using digital tools to make learning more engaging and meaningful. I also serve as Chair of the School Improvement Team, where I work alongside colleagues to develop initiatives that strengthen our school community and support student success.

I hold a Master’s in Library Science from East Carolina University, as well as a Master’s in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am passionate about creating learning environments that combine the best of traditional education with the possibilities of modern technology, helping every student reach their full potential.

Most of all, I love being a Northside Panther—because everyone knows Northside is the best side!
