Mr. Jeff Sauls

Greetings everyone! My name is Jeff Sauls and I am proud to serve as the Assistant Principal of Northside High School. I was born in Kinston, NC and I moved frequently as part of a military family. My father was stationed in Europe, the Far East, and in several different areas of the United States. I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to learn about different cultures at a young age and draw from that experience as an educator.  

 

I am a Pirate through and through as both my parents graduated from East Carolina College.  I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education from East Carolina and taught in Pitt County middle schools for eight years. As part of Principal Fellows program class fifteen, I returned to ECU to earn a Master’s Degree in School Administration and Curriculum Instructional Specialist license. 

 

For the past two years I have served as Program Coordinator for the BCS Alternative Learning Program. Prior to that I served as Assistant Principal and Principal of Washington High School. I am excited to join the staff at Northside High School and work alongside the most dedicated, hard working, and student centered group of professionals I have ever met. I look forward to the successes our students will experience and the joy the 2025-2026 school year will bring.
